A. Surgeon’s Fee
When comparing surgical fees, many factors must be considered. One of them is the currency exchange rate in the surgeon’s country. For example, the Euro is significantly stronger than the Turkish Lira, which makes surgeries performed in Turkey both high-quality and cost-effective.
For the Ribella procedure, the clinic fee ranges from €3,000 to €5,000, depending on the complexity of the case. Unlike cosmetic- plastic surgeons, Ribella is performed by a thoracic surgeon—a specialist with years of experience in rib anatomy and function. This reduces complication risks and ensures expert handling should any issues arise. In other words, it’s not only more affordable but also far superior in quality and safety compared to what a cosmetic & plastic surgeon can offer.
B. Cryotherapy
Thanks to cryotherapy, you won’t feel a single minute of pain after the Ribella procedure. Cryoablation is a standard practice in Ribella. Since thoracic procedures are often associated with severe pain, thoracic surgeons have developed expertise in pain management over many years.

For patients from İzmir, a one-night hospital stay is sufficient. For those coming from other cities or countries, we offer a 2-night stay as a precaution. After the procedure, patients feel well enough to join social activities with their doctor and team members as early as the evening of the first day.

In some procedures performed outside the hospital setting, patients are told they need to stay in a hotel for a week after a same-day intervention. However, Ribella adopts a health- and aesthetics-focused approach that prioritizes monitoring patients in a fully equipped hospital environment under the supervision of professional medical staff — not in a hotel room.
G. Simultaneous Correction of Accompanying Rib Flare
Since Ribella is performed by a thoracic surgeon, rib flare deformities (protrusion of lower front ribs) can be corrected simultaneously—without incisions or stitches, and pain-free. This enhances the result not just from the front but also from the side view. This correction is standard in Ribella.
H. Extending Up to the 7th Rib for Superior Results
This area lies above the diaphragm and near the lungs and heart—regions that only thoracic surgeons are routinely trained to operate on. These upper ribs are located in an anatomical region that plastic surgeons are largely unfamiliar with.

2. Standard Guarantee and Travel Health Insurance Included in the Ribella Procedure
Postoperative complications are not always serious. For example, if you experience swelling in the treated area after returning to your home country, there is no need to travel back to Turkey. You can simply visit a doctor in your own country, and Ribella includes a special medical insurance that covers these situations, even abroad.
If a follow-up visit or additional procedure in Turkey becomes necessary, both your travel and treatment expenses will also be covered. The insurance even extends to unrelated situations, such as accidents or sudden illnesses that may occur during your trip, ensuring comprehensive protection throughout your journey.

This coverage remains valid for 6 months after the procedure. All medical complications that may arise following the surgery or treatment — such as infections, allergic reactions, or the need for additional interventions — are included under this insurance. In cases that can be resolved with a simple intervention in your home country, the cost of treatment at a local medical facility is also covered.
- B. Travel, Illness, Accident, and Emergency Evacuation:
This coverage begins the moment you depart from your home country and remains valid until you return. It includes sudden illnesses, unexpected accidents, travel-related health issues, and emergency medical transfers — even if they are not related to the Ribella procedure.
- C. Local Medical Intervention in Your Home Country:
If any post-op issues arise and are handled in your country, costs are reimbursed.
- D. Flight and Accommodation Support (in Case of Complications)
If a medical complication arises after your treatment and you need to return to Turkey from your home country — or if your stay in Turkey needs to be extended — your insurance will cover the cost of your flight, accommodation, and provide a daily allowance to support your personal expenses.
E. Lost Travel Documents Support:
In case of lost passport, ID, or ticket, the insurance provides financial assistance for replacement.
