Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan ERSÖZ
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Ersöz was born in Diyarbakır in 1985 and is a specialist in thoracic surgery with 16 years of surgical experience. Dr. Ersöz, whose father is also a surgeon, developed his interest in the medical world at a young age. The scientific education he received at Science High School gave him the ability to become a scientist, which in turn equipped him with a deep interest and curiosity in the field of medicine. After graduating from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, one of Turkey’s most prestigious universities, he completed his specialization training in thoracic surgery at Dokuz Eylül University, one of Turkey’s most prestigious medical schools.

After completing his medical education at Dicle University, Dr. Ersöz completed his thoracic surgery specialization training at Dokuz Eylül University, developing his deep knowledge and surgical skills in this field. During his 16 years of professional experience, he gained a deep expertise in this field, focusing especially on thoracic cage deformities. During his specialization training, he developed not only his surgical skills, but also his academic and leadership skills.

Dr. Hasan Ersöz was successful in being appointed as the founding head of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at İzmir Katip Çelebi University. Despite his young age, he was appointed to this important position thanks to his 16 years of experience and leadership skills. Despite the difficulties he faced while establishing the department, he quickly transformed it into one of the most respected surgical centers in Turkey. Thanks to his leadership skills and innovative approach, the department grew rapidly and became known for both its educational and clinical successes.
